Cautions

Card Ownership and Use
  • When using your card, always present the card at the counter in person and check the transaction amount and the merchant¡¯s name on the slip before signing.
  • If your company¡¯s address, telephone number, or the department in charge of administrating its corporate credit cards has changed, you must inform Hana Card of this change by visiting a Hana Bank branch.
  • If the account used to settle credit card bills or your company¡¯s business registration number has changed, you must inform Hana Card of this change by visiting a Hana Bank branch.
  • If your company¡¯s name has changed or you wish to change who gets to use your company¡¯s corporate credit cards, you must visit a Hana Bank branch, return the existing and/or applicable card(s), and have new cards issued.
  • Credit card sales slips are required for processing expenses without receipts. Make sure not to lose them.
  • When using a common corporate card, individuals need to use their own signatures in order to make it easier to identify which individual made which transaction.
  • If your card has been lost or stolen, please report it right away by contacting Hana Card¡¯s customer center at 1800-1111.
Declined Credit Card Transactions
  • Transactions using corporate credit cards may be declined if the monthly credit limit assigned to your company has been exceeded. If this is the case, please visit a Hana Bank branch and request your company¡¯s credit limit to be raised.
  • Credit cards that have been reported lost/stolen or are in arrears cannot be used until the issue has been resolved at a Hana Bank branch.
  • Transactions in excess of \10,000,000 in a given month will require merchants to contact BC Card for manual authorization via telephone, even if your company¡¯s credit limit has not been reached yet.
  • Transaction requests made manually by punching in the credit card number or over the phone without physically scanning the card using a credit card reader may be declined.
  • If your card has been declined before your credit limit has been reached, please ask the merchant to scan the card using a credit card reader for authorization.
