• Overseas merchant acceptance and ATM access all over the world.
  • One GLOBAL card can function as a credit and cash card, allowing you to freely withdraw money in domestic and
    foreign currency providing you designate your account as your settlement account.
  • If there's a VISA or PLUS mark, you can withdraw up to USD 50,000 per year from your account.
    (including overseas purchases)
    Here USD 50,000 a year indicates the limit of overseas card use including withdrawing cash in accordance with the
    Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.
  • Please NOTE : To withdraw cash or use your credit card overseas, the cardholder must have a foreign exchange
    transaction account.

  In accordance with the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act passed by the Korean government,
  amended and effective as of June 2nd, 2008, foreign residents should register with one foreign exchange bank to make their
  foreign exchange transactions in order to ensure such transactions do not exceed the foreign exchange limit.
  Up to a maximum of USD 50,000 (including overseas card use) may be used to make foreign exchange transactions per year.
  If you intend to transfer your salary and will exceed the aforementioned quotas, then you will be required to submit proof of
  your earnings.

  You may only use credit cards overseas which are issued by the foreign exchange bank with which you are registered.

  • When a Global check card is used along with mobile carrier membership card, the check card provides 5% off from

  • Including family restaurants subject to discount service, the service is provided once a month and 6 times a year
    and up to KRW 200,000 per case is discounted on the spot.

• Discounted amounts are deposited on 10th of the following month
• Discounts available twice a month, 12 times a year including on-the-spot purchases at theaters.
• Discount service is provided when the amount of the previous month card usage exceeds KRW 200,000.

• Discount up to 30% each on certain performances when booked at Ticketlink (http://www.ticketlink.co.kr)

  Please note that settlement should be made through Tab where Hana Card discount is applicable, only then
  discounted amount is applied.

Use Card and Accrue 5 points per KRW 1,000 as Hana Card Yes Point(0.5%)

• Whenever the card is used at affiliated retailers nationwide, 5 points per KRW 1,000 are accrued.
  But, exclude discounts on movie tickets, restaurants, transportation and oil stations.
• Points can be used as cash at more than 30,000 Yes Point Club membership nationwide.
  (Accrued points of more than 10,000 can be used at GS Caltex, and Hyundai Oilbank)
• When 50.000 points or more are accrued, the points are redeemed to a settlement account after
  requesting Cash back through Expat Customer Center(1588-3200).

How do I redeem Hana Card Yes Points?

• You may request a transfer of Yes Points to your settlement account in the form of cash when you
  have accrued a minimum of 50,000 points.
  • Transfers may be made in units of 1,000 points.
  • For information on cashing in Yes Points, please contact the Expat Card Customer Service at 1588-3200.
• You may also cash in Yes Points at affiliated Gas Stations( Hyundai Oilbank, GS Caltex(inc.LPG) you have accrued a
  minimum of 10,000 points.

  ※ NOTE: If your Hana Card account is delinquent or suspended at the time you wish to use Yes Points,
  the points may not be used or otherwise assigned.

Preferential Financial Services

• Cut online remittance commission of by 40%(*)
• 20% off foreign currency remittance commission
• Discount 30% on foreign exchange rate when exchanging foreign currency and buying traveler's check
  (only dollar and yen are eligible.)
• Extra services are offered such as asset management, tax, consultation on laws
  (after 3 working days, the services are given when more than KRW 100,000 is used on the card and the service offering are
  stopped once transaction is suspended.)
  • Provision of the services above could be stopped due to Hana Card and affiliated companies' situation,
    and when stopped, notification is required 6 months early. In case of inevitable situations like affiliated companies' closure,
    bankruptcy, and insolvency, a prior notice is delivered before changing services, but if impossible,
    the notice would be offered later.
  • Excessive issuance of credit cards would affect credit rating and usage limit.
  • Applied default interest rate ranges from 23.0% to 29.0% depending on customers' interest rate on cash advance and
    default period ( as of Jan.2013)
  • Overusing credit takes a heavy toll on the household economy.

Guide to Cash Withdrawal in Overseas

• Eligibility : customers who designate as a foreign currency transaction bank in accordance with the
  Foreign Exchange Transaction Act are eligible for overseas cash withdrawal.

• Under the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act, the amount able to withdraw using check cards in
  overseas is limited within USD 50,000 a year (Jan. ~ Dec.) which adds up total amounts used abroad of
