General Payment Service

An authentication service that allows you to pay for products purchased online without entering your credit card number, password, or any other sensitive information each time. Set up the service once and shop with greater safety and convenience at online retailers across the world.

Eligibility

Domestic and overseas e-commerce transaction using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Local card.
* Not applicable to overseas e-commerce transactions using an American Express or Local card.

General Payment Password

• This is a Password chosen by the Cardholder when signing up for the General Payment Service and is used to authenticate Online Transactions using the service. It must be 6 to 16 letters, numbers or a combination of both in length. Also, at this time please make sure that your Password is not leaked to others.
• When making a payment at a domestic e-commerce site, this service allows you to simply enter your service password, the card’s expiration date, and the card’s CVV number into a popup window to authorize the payment and therefore protects sensitive information from falling into the wrong hands.
• Entering an incorrect Card Expiration Date and/or CVV Number more times than allowed will automatically prompt an "Expiration Date/CVV Error Unlock" window. You will then have to enter your Credit Card Number and your Public Key Certificate Password to unlock. Specifically, you will only need to enter your Card Number and Certificate Password when using your Authentication Certificate.
